Moving Along...

Hello Everyone!! Since I posted last Alayna has had her first set of shots, Starr said she did very well, more tears from her than the baby!! She has also discovered her voice and her hands, the first are all ready starting. We need to get her home so we don't miss anymore!! Candice is taking our paperwork to the courthouse this week, so we should get the first date really soon, I will keep everyone posted,

Exciting Day

Hello Everyone, just a little update. I have mailed out the paperwork to Chicago to get its stamps, then by early next week they should be sending them to Taiwan so our lawyer can get our first court date!!! Then when that's done we will get our date to go if everything is approved, and it will..... We also received our approval from the INS today to adopt Lany and to travel to Taiwan, today was a perfect day.........

A Smile That Could Light Up A Room....

Hi Everyone!! When I saw these new pictures the first thing that came to my mind was wow her first big smile, and it could light up any room she was in. Some days are really hard for me because it takes me back to the first time we visited Sydney and we had to leave her there, it was the hardest thing I have every had to do. Sometimes seeing her and having to turn the computer off brings the same feelings but I battle through because I know she will be home soon and we will have her for eternity to love. The papers have been mailed to Taiwan to be translated to Chinese, then to Chicago, then back to Taiwan for the final court date to be set. So we are hoping before Thanksgiving we will bring her home... Keep your fingers crossed
